Those of you in the "Down syndrome community" have likely already seen this clip, so I'm posting this link for those of you who haven't seen it. It's about a very inspirational young woman with Down syndrome. It brings tears to my eyes, but they're happy tears. Who are we to limit the possibilities of an individual with an extra 21st chromosome?
The clip is about 5 minutes long. It aired on the Today Show on Dec. 26th. Enjoy! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/#22397724

Hi Jennie,
What a great clip. Micah's world is full of possibilities that we haven't even imagined...but God has it all planned out.
Our pastor asked for prayer requests during the service on Sunday, and Jeff brought up Micah. The whole congregation prayed for him.
We also hope and pray that Nathan is well and you are all together as often as possible very soon.
Thanks for the link; I'd caught it earlier but it's so worth a re-watch.
I enjoyed watching the video and can't wait to see all of the wonderful achievements God has in store for your little Micah. Praying that both of your boys are feeling better soon.
awesome video-- glad i didn't open it at work-- it was very moving. I think I told you about my colleague's sister, megan mccormick, who has DS and has won medals in the last 2 special olympics.
