If you're wondering why there are no photos of Nathan in his costume, well, that's because he refused to wear it. He spent Friday afternoon being completely ornery. He was a grump at the neighbor's party (which was soooo fun... they even had an inflatable bouncy thing) and he wouldn't don his costume to go trick or treating. He was a true joy. I guess we all have our moments, but his are coming way too frequently these days. :-(

Micah is absolutely adorable!
Too bad Nathan didn't want to dress up. It can be such a tough (stubborn?) age.
Micah is such a precious lion cub! I can't stand it. :) Oh, and about Nathan? Kyle refused to wear his costume, as well. He utterly refused to wear what he'd been perfectly happy with a week before...and ended up wearing a raincoat, boots & a firefighter's hat from the play clothes. So I feel you on that!
Way too cute!!
How sweet. What purrfect costume for such a brave little guy.
Hugs and prayers.
Rachel
That is just perfect. He looks so adorable I could just eat him up!
I can relate to your Nathan troubles. It must be age related. I find myself looking forward to when Devin is 4...I heard it gets better.
Micah is totally cute! i love the little tail...
& man, i've sure gone through different stages like that with different kids. He's growing in areas that a lot of kids his age haven't had the opportunity to grow in ... like compassion & empathy. You've got important work cut out for you, making sure he learns those lessons, eh?
*and* as your last commenter said, my dd is 4 & wow, what a difference from 3. She's still a firecracker, but sometimes we can negotiate now :)
he is so cute...
Oh Jennie your boy is the cutest ever! What a sweet memory!
hugs,
khris
Micah was definitely the cutest and bravest little lion cub ever!
What was Nathan supposed to be?
Nathan had a Thomas costume (same as last year).
No cowardly lion here! Micah has sure faced down all the "scary" things like a trooper and earned that brave costume. What an absolute doll! That smile... just want to hug him! Dove
Oh, and don't fret too much over Nathan. I think three is the new "terrible twos" when it comes to boys. My boy was a sweetheart til he hit 3, then the most stubborn, testing Mama and Daddy's limits boy - then at four, back to sweetheart. Hang in there! Dove
Jenni, It's me, BJ, from long lost BBC. I have your blog on my "Favorites" list and feel ashamed that I haven't checked in in so long! I've missed out on so much. Micah is amazing!! So completely adorable. You're pregnant??? I searched and searched in your past post for the story, and I'm sure it's embedded in there somewhere, but I couldn't find it! Congratulations! I'm so happy for you! And a boy! Wow! What a blessings! (((hugs)))BJ

Hi Jennie,
My name is Jamie, we met back in May. Micah and our daughter Maddy had heart surgery at the same time. I've been following your blog and I'm so happy that he's finally home. He's such a cute lion cub!!
I added your blog to my favorite blog list, on our family blog. Hope you don't mind.
