Pic of the boys
So many things to write and so many pictures to post, but I can't let today go by without sharing a photo of the boys after church yesterday morning.
Oh, and we found a house in Minnesota. Mark starts his new job next Monday 8/3. We close on our new house later this month. Not sure how/when we're moving yet.
I am so glad you found my blog! I am always up for meeting new buddies! Your family is beautiful! Very handsome little boys. Good luck on your upcoming move!
LOL re: the matching. Those of you who know me know how cheap I am. I got the shorts on clearance at TCP outlet store last fall for $2.99 each and just threw on white shirts with the shorts.
Hi there! I just wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog and that you have a beautiful family. I notice that your little Micah is wearing glasses. My little guy Leo (almost 13months) just got glasses and I'm not having an easy time keeping them on. Do you have any tips? Does Micah always wear them?
Julie - Micah doesn't particularly care for his glasses. His have cable temples (wrap around the back of his ears) and I put a strap around them to make them more challenging to remove. Well, I should say "had," because I lost his glasses (I'll post about that soon). Anyway... we had already planned to get him a pair from Specs4Us because they're specifically designed for kids with Down syndrome. I'll tell you more if you want... drop me an email at jenniemsu at gmail dot com. Micah usually keeps his on fairly well as long as he's distracted by something else. And he's more likely to take them off if they're bothering his nose or if he's tired and wants to rub his eyes. If you email me, send a photo of Leo in his glasses. I love seeing little ones in glasses: so cute!
Welcome to our family blog. We have three boys: Nathan (7), Micah (4), and Matthew (3). Nathan is our energetic, sports fanatic first-born. Micah is our charming little guy, who happens to have an extra 21st chromosome (aka Down syndrome) and multiple associated health issues. Matthew is our big-boy-wanna-be. I started this blog the day after we found out that Micah has designer genes (Trisomy 21, aka Down syndrome). We've been through a lot of ups and downs (and a lot of time in the hospital), but God is faithful and continues to show His love toward us.
